For the avoidance of doubt, Streetnaij can authoritatively state that Dagrin is gone. He made a difference not only in the lives of those around him but in the industry as well. On hearing the news, most of us refused to believe the tragic situation. His fans across the world felt and still feel its a lie. Some online magazines stated that Dagrin was still alive leading to more controversy. As we can recall, he was involved in an auto crash which led to him being hospitalized. While he was there, the doctors battled to keep him alive. Most people thought he was recovering untill the news came that he was gone.

After making several calls, Streetnaij finally got hold of one of Dagrin’s closest friends Sossick arguably the most prolific beat maker in Nigeria at the moment. He made several beats for Dagrin including the highly rated “pon pon pon”, “Mo Ti Gboro”, “Ghetto Dreams” and many more. As a close friend of Streetnaij, we tried getting in touch with him all through the night to no avail. We later got hold of him today (Friday) where he confirmed that the C.E.O is Dead. According to him, “its a massive shock to us all. We thought he was recovering. But only God knows why”. Dagrin’s family is also finding it difficult to come to terms with the tragic situation. However, arrangements will be put in place regarding the next steps to be taken. Sossick kept on saying “I still no understand my Brother”.

Dagrin was billed to be on streetnaij in the month of April before his accident. He was the voice of the streets in Lagos and commanded great support all around Lagos Metropolis. His Legacy will live on. He had the belief that Rapping in Yoruba is his style and will make a differnce. His belief was that with time he’ll be able to convince music followers to listen to his style. He did just that. Dagrin will forever remain a Legend of the music game. R.I.P Dagrin The C.E.O
