Is Ali Baba truly retired?

Some days ago, the Legend of comedy in Nigeria Ali Baba decided to bring the curtain down on his remarkable career. His great jokes overtime have made marks in people’s lives and he remains the King of Comedy. However it’s no more gossip as the King himself Ali Baba has called it quit on stand-up comedy. He stated that “Next year June 12 will it”. He had to make it clear that he is not quitting the comedy scene but only quitting stand-up comedy. He clarified that he will remain an MC but only quitting stand-up comedy to give way for the younger talents to come through. According to him, “these younger artistes are doing well and I have to give way for them to grow”.

Nevertheless, most of his close pals do believe he won’t be able to resist the temptation of returning to the stage. Sound Sultan a top artiste and also a close friend of Ali Baba thinks Ali Baba is only joking and would surely return. Without a doubt Ali Baba is taking his retirement very serious. We wait to see if he returns in a short while or not.
