The Nigerian reality show “Koko Mansion” which has been going on for some weeks now took an inspiring turn today as a powerful and senior Nollywood actress paid them a visit. Stars like Julius Agwu, Owen Gee, Koffi, M.I, Ramsey Noah and others have visited the house to inspire the inmates. Owen Gee made his powerful mark alongside Koffi. They actually energised the boring house. Their witty jokes showed how talented they are with some Rib cracking jokes from both comedians. However, today was the turn of one of the movie greats.
Entering the mansion, Bukky Ajayi told the girls that in life, there are so many fake things. According to her, “There are fake generators, machines etc but there are also fake humans. Be honest with yourself at all times. Whatever you do, be honest with yourself. Some of you came out here with an initial intention. Maybe you must have gone to get the best dress to show off. But for me, this cloth am wearing is not ironed. There was no light (NEPA took light) and I had to wear this dress like that since 8AM so that it could stretch. I wont lie its not ironed”.
After hearing all the girls had to say on what they want to become, no one talked about charity giving. When Bukky Ajayi brought the topic up and the significance of giving to the poor, the girls started blowing their trumpets that they’ve been giving to the needy.
Rekana (housemate aka Kokolette) was just talking about how she helped the poor by visiting a charity before entering the mansion. If only we can confirm from the charity if she was actually there to help out. Whichever way, she might be saying the truth.
However, Bukky Ajayi later advised the girls to be truthful and real with themselves regarding their ambitions. Talking on the best way to offer assistance, she told them to teach people how to fish rather than hand them fish all the time. She later stated that in her house, “if you don’t stay in the kitchen, you don’t eat”. Advising Rita (a Kokolette), she said teach them how to fend for themselves. This was due to the fact that Rita was saying that the people she’s trying to help are small kids (4yrs and 3yrs old). Bukky Ajayi said “they know how to eat, so they should know how to cook”. She also stated that she loves cooking with charcoal irrespective of the fact that she’s got gas cooker and other modern cooking appliances.
In her final advice to the kokolettes, she said “Whatever you do, please do it honestly. Do it because you want to do it not because you have to do it”. Her last son’s tape was given as a gift to all the girls. He is a rapper.
