9ice under pressure

With the Nigerian music industry undergoing a tough competition, you ask nine in ten people on the streets of Lagos Nigeria who their favourite artiste is and the most popular song around, they will tell you its 9ice and his “Gongo Aso” hit track. His album took the streets by storm and shook every home as never before. The prolific artiste is now getting ready to release his new album.

His last album sold millions. Even without a video, the hit track “Gongo Aso” was more than a success. However he is said to be under pressure as to whether he will be able to surpass the success of the last album. 9ice is actually doing all he can to satisfy his fans and would not want to live below his street credibility. A source close to him stated that “the pressure is on but, the new album is hoped to do well”. The good thing about him is that he believes in setting himself a tough task and believes he can deliver. The last album has raised the bar of what we are expecting but 91ce will always be 9ice. He is a profound talent with the ability to wow his fans any day any time.
