TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

If you are reading this then I have only succeeded in achieving my first task in my quest to become a farmer. Yes, a farmer. Like a farmer I am one with the seasons. Rainfall and sunshine determine my spirit and my yield as do droughts, floods and natures ever-present natural hazards.
But I am a farmer so regardless of season and hazard I sow, for there is a crop/produce for every season/climate and a soil for every grain. So as long as there is a season around the corner, you can find me in my khaki shorts, adorning a worn out tank top, flip flops/slippers on my feet and tools in my basket. I awaken to cock crows in the morning and keep time diligently using my own shadow by day. Though scattered across continents, a billion others share the same routine as I and for equally less pay. Less pay for the priceless, less pay for a necessity of life but that in itself reflects the conundrum that is life.
Yes, I am a farmer so I sow seeds. Seeds of thought, hopefully in the fields of minds and hearts that choose not only to listen, NO!!! I do not want you to listen, for listening implies and requires that I am of greater thought and understanding of which even Coeus (Greek God of Intelligence and Deep Searching Questions) dare not boast. Read, by all means do but please do reflect on the themes/subjects which I will share with you over time. For I am “the muse”, – a guiding spirit and a source of inspiration – and through this column I hope I can inspire you in your pursuit of understanding and aid those in pursuit of something more, those in pursuit of a higher plain of thought.
Do feel free to send me any feedback/questions concerning this column. All constructive questions and feedback (negative as well as positive) will be published in other to provide you the reader with as much perspective on the issues being discussed.
