Some years back, Lever Brothers a super giant firm in Nigeria contracted with Genevieve Nnaji, one of Nigeria’s movie superstars. She became an ambassador and the popular face of Lux. Most people loved seeing a Nigerian as the face of Lux but neither did they know that every bar of Lux soap they purchased had some percentage of its cost going to the Nollywood star Genevieve. However, after the expiration of the contract, on renewal, she allegedly requested for more money. She felt she had brought fame and higher sales to the brand but to Lever Brothers, they brought her fame and fortune with millions of naira worth of contract. This stalemate led to the cancellation of any further negotiation. The company vowed never to use her or any Movie star for their brand.

I think that is nothing but greediness. i cant even see any way(s) she brought fame to lux either internationally or locally but anyway she has done her best.
