Banky-W Off to Nollywood

The Nigeria movie industry widely known as Nollywood is the third largest in the world after Hollywood and Bollywood. It is the only movie industry that sponsors itself through micro finance and also the only movie industry releasing hundreds of movie in less than three months. The ever growing industry has witnessed a dramatic increase in the number of Nigerians watching home made movies. The music industry took their video quality to a different level leaving behind Nollywood whose movie quality has come under huge criticism. With the huge financial reward nollywood offers, Banky-w one of the best RnB superstars in Africa has decided to consider going into home made movies. The gist around town is that Nollywood actresses are already looking forward to meeting him in their own style. The big issue remains whether they would be able to afford his services. However, one producer said “trust me nollywood can afford him”. We await his first movie.
