Lord of Ajasa - Yoruba lyricist

Wherever you go around the City of Lagos Nigeria and the whole of Western Nigeria, the name “Lord of Ajasa” is well known. He started singing from his childhood days but became a professional since 2000. As the fourth Child of his family, his goal has always been to make it big using his immense talent in Music. He was born in Ondo state of Nigeria which is in the West Coast. Without a doubt his lyrical verses must have been influenced by his root. His dictions which are concretely yoruba inclined are highy witty and sometimes emotionally tracing his past on how he struggled to make it. His unique talent of rapping in Yoruba language makes him a superstar for those that understand the language including non yorubas. His flows carries so much meaning and weight. Most of his work talks about how he made it to the top. In his view, “there are talents in Nigeria”. He’s done some tight collab with great artiste like 9ice and ID Cabas. His style compares him to Dat nigga raw who raps in Igbo language. One great thing about Ajasa is the street and deep underground nature of his flows. One dude calls him the Yoruba dictionary in Nigerian Music Industry. I leave it up to you.
